Forgot about this thing for a while.
This was a great weekend. I got some school work done and then headed to Boston to see a boy.
On the way to the Decordova Museum Rickshaw and I drove by the Walter Gropius house and decided to stop in and see if we could take a tour.
As, soon as we walked into the visitor center we were greeted by two women in their 50's. They asked if we were there for the 12 o'clock tour. Sure. We were invited to join the guest book and have our names counted among some prominent people I'd never heard of. We walked to the front of the house to join with the rest of the tour group. A bunch of pretentious middle aged europeans dressed in dark clothes. I felt like we walked into a bad art movie from the 60s.
The tour was interesting. I don't know much about architecture beyond what I think looks good.
They were discussing the paint used in the door jams and the type of metal tubing used to make the legs of the buffet in the dining room. We were just trying not to laugh and pretend to look as serious as they were.
